After my transplant and recovery, I carried on living. I never considered any other option. Here was an opportunity to live life, so I took it, and still try to do that every single day.

They are alive today because of someone making that choice to sign up as an organ donor and having that hard conversation with their family.

We couldn’t believe it as we watched our little angel grow so ill. Some days, the waiting felt unbearable.

My wife is my donor, and I’ve expressed extreme appreciation to her for the sacrifice she’s made. She made it of her own volition without blinking an eye about her own welfare.

Every day the choices I make are to honour my donor. I am forever grateful.
