    Judy's story
My husband Ian and I have shared many challenges in our 58 years together, but our double-sided experience of organ donation has sparked a new passion - to promote organ donation as a wonderful gift of life. When we lost our son Dave in a tragic accident, we didn't hesitate when we were asked…

    Julie became an eye donor
I would like to tell you a tale of two eyes and the person who saw her world through them. Julie first opened her eyes in Calcutta, India, the fourth child of a family preparing to migrate. When those eyes closed not half a decade later, it was halfway across the planet in the country she loved…

    Kai's story
When we got the call that Kai had been admitted to ICU, I hoped that he would be alive until we could consent to organ donation. As a nurse I understood the reality but prayed for a miracle. We had 700 kilometres to travel to be by his side. 35 years earlier, I had nursed an 18 year old male…

    Karen had a kidney transplant
The most important thing I have learned is that people who make the decision to donate organs are the kindest and most generous people. There are no words that can adequately express the gratitude felt by recipients and their families for this most generous gift.…
