I have been lucky enough to receive 2 kidney transplants from wonderful donors.

My first, when I was 18 years old; my second at 40.

My second was very hard to come by due to me matching with a very limited amount of the population.

I spent nearly 8 years on haemodialysis in my home, with my health decreasing as time went on.

I think I’ve nearly used up my 9 lives!
