Danny became an organ donor

In February my brother Danny passed away at Cairns. He went into a diabetic coma a few days earlier.
I can remember one day I asked him about organ donation should anything ever happen to him.
His answer was, 'Well if they can find anything useful, they're welcome to it.'
When Danny passed away I contacted the organ donation coordinator at the Cairns hospital to arrange for the donation. The lady who I spoke to was so caring towards me and explained all the procedures involved.
Danny's donation has changed or saved 5 people's lives so my brother Danny lives on.
I know when it's my turn to depart this life I also want the chance to save or improve someone else's life, so I carry an Australian organ donor card with me at all times.
