Gift of Life Incorporated is not-for-profit association who runs the annual event, supported by a Community Awareness Grant from DonateLife. Their aim is to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation and encourage people to register as an organ donor.
Come and meet players from Canberra United over a free BBQ breakfast and grab complementary merch. There are bandanas for your furry companions who are also welcome to join in the walk.
By taking part, you’ll get to enjoy the sights around the lake, get in some daily steps and show you support organ and tissue donation. During your walk, don’t forget to share photos online and tag @DonateLifeToday on Instagram or @DonateLifeAustralia on Facebook. It’s a great way to start conversations with family and friends about organ and tissue donation, so that more Australians can receive a life-changing transplant.
