Run for Hope is an event created to raise awareness about organ donation. It is organised by 2nd Beat, a group founded by Liam and Cindy Glass to honour their son’s organ donor.

The event supports families of children in South Australia who are facing similar health challenges. Participants can choose between a 12 km race or a 6 km fun run along the Esplanade at Moana.

Entry is free and registration is not required. Perpetual trophies will be awarded to the fastest runners.

Registering is easy and only takes one minute. All you need is your phone, Medicare card and one minute to register.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, your medical history, your lifestyle, what country you’re from or how healthy you are — you can still register as an organ and tissue donor.
