Gift of Life (GoLi), the leading non-governmental body promoting organ donation in the ACT and surrounding districts of NSW, welcomes the record organ donation rates achieved in Australia as well as in the Australian Capital Territory in 2010.
DonateLife ACT recently attended the Stone Fest concert held at the University of Canberra. About 12,000 people attended the event and DonateLife ACT was able to talk with them about organ and tissue donation.
For the next six weeks Australians will find themselves being encouraged to discuss their wishes about organ and tissue donation with their family.
