DonateLife ACT present the Heart to Heart Hospital Ball on Saturday 26 February 2011

A presentation of awards to ACT citizens who have made significant contributions in promoting organ and tissue donation.

This is an informal film evening run in partnership with the University of Canberra, Critical Care Nursing Department.

A Grand Rounds Presentation is an historical part of DonateLife Week in the ACT.

This session is designed for all staff at the National Capital Hospital to highlight the importance of organ and tissue donation and to identify the important part that staff play in the referral process.

The feature community event of DonateLife Week in Canberra is the annual walk across King's Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue bridges around Lake Burley Griffin.

Service of Thanksgiving at Old Parliament House. Celebrating the lives of those who have wished to help others through organ and tissue donation, and the life and health of those who have benefited through these donations.

A multi-faith service of thanksgiving for all those who have been touched by organ and tissue donation and transplantation is held annually in early May.

This black tie evening features a sit down meal with a live band and a memorabilia auction.
