DonateLife NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service, provides education to health professionals and the general community. Presentations about organ and tissue donation are held for local groups. Community awareness

The agency encourages the community to act on their support for organ and tissue donation by registering their willingness to be a donor on the Australian Organ Donor Register (AODR). People can choose which organs and tissues they wish to donate and can change their mind at any time. If you have previously registered your wishes about donation with the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) it is important to ensure you update your wishes. if they have changed. Having a conversation with your loved ones about your wishes regarding organ and tissue donation is vitally important, as they will be asked to give the final OK.
