The DonateLife Network comprises Organ and Tissue Donation Agencies (OTDAs) and Hospital Based staff.  As at 30 June 2011, 233 staff were employed in 77 hospitals and 8 OTDAs across Australia. 

Under the leadership of the Authority's National Medical Director, Dr Jonathan Gillis the DonateLife Network includes Medical Directors in each state and territory.  They are responsible for delivery of the national reform agenda in their respective jurisdictions.  They manage the 162 hospital based staff who are medical specialists in organ and tissue donation, and the 76 OTDA employees who specialise in organ donor coordination, donor family support, education coordination, communication coordination and data and audit.
