“Kicking Goals for Organ Donation Awareness” is a community awareness event to be held in conjunction with the North Ballarat Roosters VFL team at their match day on Sunday 30th July, 2017.
The match will raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation with the Roosters players wearing DonateLife branded football jumpers, magenta socks and magenta arm bands as a mark of respect for past organ donors.
Roving volunteers will speak with spectators on day about organ donation and empower them to make their decision count by joining the Australian Organ Donor Register.
