Jersey Day 2015

On Friday 4 September it’s Jersey Day!

Jersey Day has been inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo who was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015. Nathan’s family chose to give the gift of life in honour of Nathan’s generous personality and in his bequest, inspired the idea of wearing your favourite jersey to work or school in support of donation. It is not a fund raising activity; it is simply to raise awareness and to help start the donation conversation with friends and family.

Schools and workplaces across Australia are being asked to allow students and employees to wear their favourite team jersey to show their support for organ and tissue donation and to ‘have the chat that saves lives’.
