Reflection Rose lapel pins are presented to all families of organ and tissue donors in Australia who have affirmed the wish of their family member to donate. The pins can be worn to recall this unique gift.
Annual donor honour board ceremony
Many families have taken the opportunity to openly commemorate their loved ones on the donor honour board located in the grounds of Lake Monger Reserve in West Leederville. Each year, DonateLife in Western Australia hosts a rededication of the donor honour board, signifying the addition of the previous year’s organ and tissue donors and acknowledging their families.
The 2010 annual donor honour board ceremony: The 2010 annual donor honour board ceremony was held on Sunday 28th March at Lake Monger Reserve, honouring the memory of people who have recently left behind the legacy of life by donating their organs and tissues for transplantation.
DonateLife in WA hosted the ceremony for the 600 families and friends of donors from the past year, placing sixty eight names on Western Australia’s donor honour board as a lasting tribute to their final act of generosity.
Annual tree planting ceremony
