Formerly the South Australian Organ Donation Agency (SAODA), DonateLifeTM in South Australia was formed in 1996 to coordinate all organ and tissue donor activities across the state.
DonateLifeTM in South Australia works with organ and tissue donation medical specialists and nurses in hospitals across the state to provide professional donation services and encourage best practice in organ and tissue transplantation. The team also work toward increasing donation rates through helping to raise community awareness and understanding about organ and tissue donation and encouraging all South Australian families to make an informed decision about becoming an organ donor, to register their decision and to discuss and know each other's wishes.
