Volunteer opportunities:

Community volunteers are always greatly valued and directly contribute to an increased awareness of organ and tissue donation within the Northern Territory.

One of DonateLife™ in the Northern Territory's roles is to educate and inform the community about organ and tissue donation to improve rates of donation. The opportunity exists for Indigenous volunteers to work with DonateLife™ in Indigenous communities to support education and an increased understanding of organ donation.

For more information about this please call DonateLife™ on (08) 8922 6190.

Ecumenical thanksgiving service:

Ecumenical thanksgiving services are held every two-three years in Darwin and Alice Springs in memory of donors and their families who have consented to donation at a time of great personal loss. It is a time for donor families, recipients and others to come together for reflection and remembrance.
