ACT bone bank
The ACT Bone Bank provides high quality bone grafts to the local community and beyond. Located within The Canberra Hospital, it was established to meet the need for bone grafting in Canberra and the surrounding region.

Australasian Tissue and Biotherapeutics Forum
The Australasian Tissue and Biotherapeutics Forum (ATBF) represents tissue banks throughout Australasia. Tissue banks retrieve, process, and/or distribute human tissue for transplantation.

Australian Biotechnologies
AusBiotech is Australia's Biotechnology Industry Organisation, which represents over 3,000 members, covering the human health, agricultural, medical device, bioinformatics, environmental and industrial sectors in biotechnology.

Barwon Bone Bank
The Barwon Health – Bone Bank is operated by Barwon Health – The Geelong Hospital. It collects, stores and supplies femoral heads for bone graft in orthopedic surgery. The tissue is donated by patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery in the Geelong region.

BMDI Cord Blood Bank, Victoria
The BMDI Cord Blood Bank is a joint initiative of the Bone Marrow Donor Institute, The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and is located at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Parkville, Victoria.

Cell and Tissue Therapies Western Australia
Cell and Tissue Therapies Western Australia manufactures human heart valves, skin, haemopoietic stem cells, serum eyedrops and other cells and tissue for the WA Health Service. CTTWA also manufactures biotherapeutic products for local, national and international clinical trials.

Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria
The Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria is the largest tissue bank in Australia. It  processes and distributes multiple types of tissue. A not-for-profit organisation, it provides a central facility for the acquisition, processing, storage and distribution of tissue for transplantation.

Eye Bank Association of Australia and New Zealand
The Eye Bank Association Australia New Zealand is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping restore sight and providing international leadership and standards into eye banking. It aims to facilitate the efforts of the Australian and New Zealand Eye Banks to further increase the availability, safety and quality of corneal and other related tissue for transplantation.

Eye Bank of South Australia
At Flinders Medical Centre, current eye research is improving the success rate of corneal transplantation and the Ophthalmic Day Surgery Unit enables some patients to have surgery without hospitalisation.

Hobart Private Hospital Bone Bank

Lions Eye Bank, Western Australia 
The Lions Eye Bank was established in 1986 by the Lions Save Sight Foundation (LSSF) and is housed at LEI.  It is the only facility of its kind in WA and coordinates the collection, processing and distribution of eye tissue for transplantation.  The Lions Eye Bank also maintains a waitlist of patients who require corneal graft operations.

Lions Eye Donation Service
The Lions Eye Donation Service is a joint venture between the Lions Clubs of Victoria and Southern New South Wales, the University of Melbourne and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. It routinely provides corneas for transplantation across Victoria and Tasmania.

Lions NSW Eye Bank
The Lions NSW Eye Bank is the centre for collection, storage, preparation and distribution of corneas in NSW and the ACT. It also assists research into eye disease. It is responsible for the education of medical staff and the community, liaising with relatives to provide information and advice to those considering donation.

Perth Bone and Tissue Bank
The Perth Bone and Tissue Bank is an independent, incorporated, charitable organisation which retrieves donated bone. After testing and processing, the bone is stored awaiting its use in a wide variety of orthopaedic procedures.

Queensland Bone Bank
The Queensland Bone Bank is a non-profit organisation with partial funding from Queensland Health through the Princess Alexandra Hospital. It retrieves and distributes bone tissue throughout Queensland and Australia, and conducts studies to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of tissue transplants.

Queensland Eye Bank
The Queensland Eye Bank, based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, is one of the most efficient and productive Eye Banks in Australia. The Queensland Eye Bank retrieves eye tissue from people who have consented to donation and have died in a hospital.

Queensland Heart Valve Bank
The Queensland Heart Valve Bank is located at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane and supplies heart valves throughout Australia.

South Australian Tissue Bank

Sydney Cord Blood Bank 
The Sydney Cord Blood Bank (SCBB) forms part of a national network of cord blood banks sited in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane that collects and banks cord blood from voluntary donors for anonymous use by patients needing a stem cell transplant.
