The Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) is the peak professional body for practice nurses working in general practice, supporting members to be recognised, professional and empowered.

Clinician Development and Education Service – Queensland Health
Mirrored on the PriMeD module, the Clinician Development and Education Service (CDES) organ donation module has been launched for access by all Queensland Health staff using the Queensland Health intranet portal.

National Organ Donation Collaborative (NODC)
The NODC involves multidisciplinary teams of health professionals from 27 hospitals across Australia. Their aim is to identify, use and spread best practice models that have been used to achieve high donation rates and to develop interventions for getting evidence-based guidelines into practice to support the organ donation process. NODC will shortly be incorporated into the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority.

PriMed
The development of a one hour online education module through PriMed has been developed to cover the key aspects of organ donation education for the GP and practice nurse audience.
